- Secure Patient Portal Messaging – Stay connected between visits for updates or quick questions. Messages are reviewed and responded to during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30-5 pm; excluding holidays) so every patient receives thoughtful, timely attention.
- Prescription Management – Ongoing monitoring, renewals, and safe adjustments for medications in your care plan.
- Prior Authorization Support – We’ll handle the paperwork and insurance coordination when your treatment requires it.
- Integration of Lab Tests and Diagnostics – Review and integration of tests ordered by Journey Health or outside providers to guide your care plan.
- Focused Physical Exams (as indicated) – Especially attentive to women’s midlife health concerns, with exams tailored to your needs.

Memberships
The Basic tier (quarterly visits) is designed for patients who are already stable and need only minimal monitoring. New patients often require closer supervision during the first 6 months to adjust medications safely, monitor symptoms, and build consistent habits. That’s why all new patients must start with Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Once you’ve completed your first 6 months, you may drop down to Basic if you’re stable.
If you are currently enrolled in one of our condition-based memberships (such as metabolic health or menopause care), you’ll simply finish out your existing membership as planned. Once it is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from our new tiered membership options (Basic, Bronze, Silver, or Gold). This transition allows you to keep all the benefits of your current membership through the end of your term, and then move into the tier that best matches the level of support and frequency of visits you want going forward.
Yes, most patients can use their FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) to cover Journey Health memberships. Because our services are medical care provided by a licensed clinician, they typically qualify. We recommend checking with your plan administrator to confirm coverage.
No, Journey Health memberships are direct-pay and not billed through insurance. However, you may still use your insurance for labs, imaging, or prescriptions.
Appointments and scheduling
Additional visits can be added a la carte at member pricing of $200 for 45 minutes. Many patients upgrade to Silver or Gold if they need ongoing extra support.
We ask for at least 24–48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed visits cannot be refunded, but we’ll do our best to find another time within your membership window. Frequent no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in additional fees.
Yes. While memberships are designed to encourage steady, consistent follow-up, you do have flexibility in how you use your visits during your 6-month membership. For example, you might use two visits in one month during a challenging season and skip the following month if things are stable. We’ll work with you to balance your visits in a way that supports your health journey, but all visits must be used within your active membership window.

Initial Consultation
Yes. Every patient begins with a full 45-minute initial consultation ($200 flat fee), which includes a complimentary InBody bioimpedance scan. This visit is required before joining a membership, but you are not obligated to enroll right away. Please note: your consultation must be within the past 12 months in order to activate a new membership tier.
We’ll take time to review your health history, goals, and any labs or prior records you bring. The InBody scan helps us understand your body composition, which is important for tracking muscle, fat, and hydration as part of your care. Together, we’ll outline a personalized plan and discuss which membership tier best fits your needs.
Your consultation still provides you with a comprehensive health review and personalized recommendations. However, without a membership you will not have access to ongoing benefits like secure messaging, prescription management, or follow-up visits at Journey Health. You’re always welcome to return and join later, but new patients who rejoin must start with at least the Bronze tier — and your consultation must be within the past year.
We updated our consultation from a 30-minute $150 “mini consult” to a 45-minute $200 full consultation to give you more time, more value, and a stronger start to your care. This ensures we have enough space to listen, review your history, and build a care plan that feels tailored to your health journey.
